About 55

207 dentists are on the map within 25 miles of downtown Atlanta. If they run like the metro, about 55 have no working website of their own. Right now, somebody nearby is choosing one of the others. Not because it’s better. Because it was easier to find.

Metro share 26.1% · n=202 · How I counted. The count is every practice on the map with a name. The estimate is the metro’s share applied to it. Dentists may run higher or lower. Source: OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL.

Your door, on the map.

Your city, then the first letters of your business. The public map already answers four of the ten for it.

From OpenStreetMap, which anyone can edit and which runs behind. If your door is wrong there, fix it at openstreetmap.org. It’s what the assistants read.

The Curb Check

Three of the ten, for a practice.

  1. 02

Is the phone number on the internet the one that actually rings?

A wrong number online is a customer who called and decided you closed.

  2. 06

Does your site live on a domain you own, not on a platform’s address?

A page on somebody else’s platform can’t rank, can’t move, can vanish when their terms change, and isn’t what an assistant cites when it names a business.

  3. 08

Can you send someone your link without saying “it’s a little out of date”?

If you apologize for it, so does everyone who lands on it.

The plan

The plan, in three steps.

  1. 01
A drawing of a shop front from the sidewalk: the sign, the awning, the window, the door ajar, a parking sign at the curb, and a red pin on the sidewalk where I stand.

    Walk the curb

I come to your business. An hour, in person. I see what a customer sees, then pull up what the internet says about the same place while I’m standing in it.

  2. 02
A drawing of the plan: a sheet headed The plan, seven numbered parts with their lines, a red mark on the fifth, and a pen across the corner.

    Get the plan

A written assessment: what’s working, what’s costing you customers, what’s worth fixing and what isn’t, in priority order, with real numbers attached. You keep it either way.

  3. 03
A drawing of a shop door standing open, light falling across the sidewalk, a sign hanging on it.

    Open the door

I build the website your business deserves. Then whatever the plan said mattered next.

Do you build for dentists?

Yes. 207 are on the map, and I drive to all of them. The Walkthrough is the same hour at your door. The plan is written for a practice.

What happens in the Walkthrough?

I come to your practice for an hour. I see what a customer sees: the sign, the parking, the door, the room. Then I pull up what the internet says about the same place while I’m standing in it, including what the AI assistants say. You get a written plan, yours to keep either way.

What does it cost?

The Walkthrough is $350, about what a home inspection costs in Atlanta. Websites start at $4,500. If you go ahead, the $350 comes off the build.

Tips on this file

  1. 01 · the headline

The same page as the front, with your trade in the question. The offer does not change by trade. The three questions I would ask first do.

  2. 02 · the count

Every Dentists on the map with a name, counted. The share is the metro’s, and the page says your trade may run higher or lower. A number that shows its work is one you can repeat to a customer.

  3. 03 · the three

Ten questions fit every business. Three of them decide it for yours. Those three are here, and the other seven are one click away.
